We hear a lot about burnout these days, but do we really know all that it entails? It seems burnout has become synonymous with work-related stress, but it’s much more than that. Burnout is not a normal by-product of work and it can be harmful to think of it that way. Burnout is a form of chronic stress that can manifest in many ways. Remote employees are more likely to report feeling burned out than their in-office counterparts.
